President Herminie promotes and commissions SDF officers
President Patrick Herminie, Commander-in-Chief of the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF), yesterday promoted one officer and commissioned four others during a ceremony held at State House.
The highest-ranking officer promoted was Major Ivel Ernesta, who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Lieutenant Colonel Hans Radegonde, who had been promoted in absentia in December 2025, was also officially presented with his rank by the President.
