Cabinet advances community, youth, and sustainability initiatives

President Patrick Herminie chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday June 24, during which a number of policy memoranda were approved.

Cabinet approved the establishment of District Senior Citizens Committees in all districts of Seychelles as a structured platform to promote the participation, representation, and wellbeing of senior citizens within their communities. The Committees will support active and healthy ageing through social, cultural, educational, wellness, and community engagement activities, while strengthening communication between senior citizens.
