Public Service Day message from former President Ramkalawan

A fair nation needs a fair public service

“On this Public Service Day, we salute all public servants who continue to serve Seychelles with dedication, professionalism and integrity.

“A public service must be guided by merit, fairness and equal opportunity – not political favouritism or discrimination. Our institutions are strongest when people are judged by their competence and character, not by who they support politically.

“Today, we also remember those who have lost their jobs, been sidelined, or faced unfair treatment because of their beliefs or political views. Every Seychellois deserves to be treated with dignity, justice and respect.

“A fair nation is built on a fair public service.”
