President Faure congratulates Thai Prime Minister on election win |12 June 2019

President Danny Faure has sent a message congratulating General Prayuth Chan-o-cha on his election as the new Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand,

“I am confident that under your leadership, the trust that the people of Thailand have placed in you, will serve as a great inspiration in your commitments to ensure success and prosperity in your country’s development,” said President Faure.

The president added: “Seychelles and Thailand have enjoyed a remarkable friendship and we are certain that we will continue to rally our efforts to further reinforce this exceptional bond for the mutual benefits of our peoples.”
