Boosting food resilience through poultry safety
A three-day workshop aimed at strengthening food safety, cold chain management and disease preparedness in the poultry sector started yesterday at the Eden Bleu Hotel, bringing together government officials and private sector stakeholders to discuss ways of improving Seychelles’ veterinary public health systems and food resilience.
The Cold Chain Management and Food Safety Workshop is endorsed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and organised by the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) in collaboration with the Veterinary Services of the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and the Blue Economy.
