Long-serving public service staff honoured

Eighteen staff members from the Public Service Unit were honoured with Long Service Awards on Friday afternoon during a special Labour Day celebration organised by the Social Affairs department under the Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Equality.

The ceremony, held at the Savoy Resort and Spa, celebrated the dedication and hard work of public service staff, fostered unity, and inspired continued excellence. Distinguished guests included Vice-President Sebastien Pillay, Minister Pamela Charlette, secretary of state for Social Affairs, Family and Equality Linda William-Melanie, principal secretary for the Department of Public Administration Fatime Kante, principal secretary for Social Affairs Beryl Payet, and principal secretary for Family Affairs and Equality Mike Morel.
