Court of Appeal delivers series of rulings across civil, commercial, constitutional and property disputes

The Court of Appeal of Seychelles has delivered a series of judgments covering civil, commercial, constitutional, procedural and property matters.
In a civil dispute involving the Eden Island Village Management Association, the Court dismissed an appeal by Stuart Leslie Hibberd concerning unpaid levies. The Court found that the financial statements on record showed an outstanding balance and that the appellant had failed to provide sufficient evidence to contradict them. It upheld the trial court’s finding that the appellant remained indebted and dismissed the appeal with costs.
