Joint survey focuses on Silhouette’s freshwater ecosystems
Silhouette island’s freshwater ecosystems were once again the focus of scientific attention, as the Island Conservation Society in collaboration with Gaea Seychelles, supported the sixth freshwater biodiversity inventory there.
The expedition formed part of an ongoing national effort to better understand and monitor freshwater biodiversity across Seychelles, led by Gaea Seychelles, a citizen science-driven organisation at the forefront of freshwater research in the country.
