“Today, Seychelles joins the world in commemorating World Public Transport Day under the theme ‘One Day, Millions of Journeys’.

“Transport, whether by road, sea or air, form the backbone of our national connectivity and supports the daily lives of all Seychellois. It connects our communities, supports tourism, facilitates trade and contributes to our economic growth. Every day, thousands of journeys take place across our islands and beyond, demonstrating the vital role of public transport in enabling mobility and national progress.
