President Herminie sends Nav-Ruz wishes of renewal and peace |21 March 2026

“As communities around the world welcome the dawn of a new year with the celebration of Nav-Ruz, March 21, I

extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all members of the Baha’i and Zoroastrian communities

in Seychelles and across the globe.

“Nav-Ruz marks a time of renewal, hope, and spiritual reflection. It is a celebration that embodies the

values of unity, peace, and the triumph of light over darkness – principles that resonate across all cultures

and faiths.

“As you gather with family and community to observe this sacred festival, may the new year bring renewed

strength, good health, and continued harmony. May its spirit inspire us all to work together in fostering

understanding, compassion, and a more peaceful world.

On behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, and in my own name, I wish you

a joyous and blessed Nav-Ruz.”
