Seychelles takes steps to calm Gulf conflict fears

The government of Seychelles has reassured the public that it is taking proactive measures to minimise the impacts of the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region on the country.
This was announced by Vice-President Sebastien Pillay in a press conference held yesterday afternoon at State House, by the Emergency Cabinet Committee.
VP Pillay explained that the government is adopting a holistic approach to assess the potential impacts of the crisis across various sectors. He emphasised that authorities are working to ensure that daily life in Seychelles continues as normal.
