Ministry of Health announces temporary closure of English River Health Centre

The Ministry of Health has announced that the English River Health Centre will be temporarily closed as from 4pm, Friday March 20, 2026 to Sunday March 22, to undertake fumigation of the facility.

In a press release issued yesterday, the ministry said the measure is being undertaken to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff.

During this closure, members of the public are advised to seek medical services at the Beau Vallon Health Centre and Les Mamelles Health Centre. Both health centres will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as from 8am to 8pm.

The English River Health Centre will resume its normal operations on Monday March 23, 2026, at 8am.

The Beau Vallon and Les Mamelles health centres will resume their normal operations as from Monday March 23, 2026, from 8am to 4pm.

The ministry regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and counts on the usual support and cooperation of members of the public, read the communique.
