• Initiative to strengthen family bonds and support rehabilitation
A new chapter in prison rehabilitation began on Sunday with the introduction of a parenting education programme for inmates at the Seychelles Prison at Montagne Posée; an initiative spearheaded by the National Council for Children and supported by the Office of the First Lady, Véronique Herminie.
The programme was officially launched during the First Lady’s visit to the prison on Sunday, marking the opening of activities for International Women’s Day celebrations under the global theme ‘Give to Gain’.
