EPIC marks World Wetlands Day with mangrove clean-up

The Environmental Policy Implementation Committee (EPIC) of the secretariat of the National Assembly, in partnership with Parley Seychelles and the Deaf Centre Seychelles, organised a mangrove clean-up at the Parliamentary Mangrove Sanctuary on Friday, February 6. The sanctuary, located just behind the parliamentary building, has been under the Assembly’s stewardship since 2022.

The initiative brought together Speaker Hon. Azarel Ernesta, children and teachers from the Deaf Centre led by Anita Gardner, and Parley Seychelles volunteers headed by Jessica Lawen.
