Regional partners review progress on Indian Ocean plastic expedition project

The second steering committee meeting of the Indian Ocean Plastic Expedition project officially opened on Tuesday morning at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino, bringing together member states and partners to review progress to date and share initial results.

The Indian Ocean Plastic Expedition project (ExPLOI) is a regional initiative aimed at reducing plastic pollution in four Indian Ocean countries – the Union of the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Seychelles – through an integrated approach encompassing scientific, technical, economic, social, institutional, and regulatory components. To continue reading, please click here to subscribe to Seychelles NATION’s e copy
