Seychelles strengthens disaster data systems through regional DTR training

The Department of Risk and Disaster Management in collaboration with the United Nations office for Disaster Risk Reduction is conducting a three-day regional Disaster Tracking System training to strengthen Seychelles’ capacity in disaster loss and damage data collection, analysis and reporting.

Through this training, participants will gain practical skills in applying disaster data tools, assessing data ecosystem maturity, and aligning national disaster data systems with global reporting frameworks such as the Sendai Framework and the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
