President visits two key maritime security centres
President Patrick Herminie carried out a familiarisation visit yesterday morning to two key maritime security centres based at Bois de Rose – the Regional Coordination of Operations Centre Seychelles and the National Information Sharing Coordination Centre.
During the visit, the President met officials from both centres and toured the facilities to gain a clearer understanding of how they operate and how they contribute to maritime safety and security at national and regional level. Both centres play an important role in information sharing, coordination and response to threats at sea.
