Scheme’ re-introduced

The Unemployment Relief Scheme is being re-introduced effective January 2026, to support vulnerable groups through temporary work placements aimed at building skills and improving employability.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision during its session on Wednesday December 17, chaired by President Patrick Herminie.
