Leadership transition at Seypec

Following a meeting held yesterday between the Minister for Finance, Pierre Laporte, and the chief executive of the Seychelles Petroleum Company (Seypec), Sarah Romain, it was communicated that her contract, which is due to expire at the end of January 2026, will not be renewed.

During the meeting, both parties mutually agreed that Mrs Romain will conclude her tenure earlier, with her last day of service being today (December 19, 2025).
