Green initiative gets week-long activities underway

The Seychelles Fisheries Authority in collaboration with the department of Fisheries, officially launched this year’s Fisheries Week celebrations with a significant tree-planting event yesterday morning in Anse à la Mouche.

The activity took place close to the designated area for an upcoming fishing facility project, which aims to enhance local fishing practices while maintaining the level of standard required. This event marked a meaningful step toward promoting environmental sustainability and fostering community engagement.
