National Assembly concluded induction for new members
The National Assembly of Seychelles successfully concluded an intensive week-long induction and onboarding session for newly elected and proportionately nominated members, last week.
The closing ceremony, held last Friday, highlighted the crucial role of the National Assembly service in supporting the members, and emphasised a commitment to democratic values, transparency, and collaborative governance. Deputy clerk Alexandria Faure congratulated the members on completing what she described as “an intense week, and a crash course into the often complex, procedural, and dynamic world of parliament.”
