8th cohort undergo induction and onboarding sessions
The new members of the 8th National Assembly are currently undergoing a comprehensive five-day orientation programme, which started on Monday October 20.
The programme, led by the National Assembly secretariat, is designed to cover essential topics ranging from administrative onboarding to legislative processes, ethical conduct, and public engagement. Out of the 34 members elected and proportionally appointed, two from Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) were absent, namely Bernard Georges who is out of the country and Sathyanaraynan Naidu, who is on medical leave.
