Work underway for new containerised desalination

The Public Utilities Corporation has confirmed that installation work is underway on a newly dispatched containerised desalination plant on Praslin.

Once fully operational, this critical infrastructure will increase Praslin’s desalinated water production by 1,000 cubic metres per day – bringing the island’s total daily capacity to 3,900 cubic metres.
