Finding home away from home … a young Ugandan’s journey

When I left Mahé last year, I carried with me a mix of excitement and uncertainty. I reminded myself to trust the process, to hold on to the belief that everything happens for a reason. The first few months on Praslin were not easy though. I had to adjust to a new environment and slowly I started to realise just how much I missed home.
