SPA provides Inter Island area as temporary parking for Independence Day
The Seychelles Ports Authority has announced that its new Inter Island parking facility located on the opposite side of the Inter Island Quay, will be temporary made available to the public for parking during the Independence Day festivities.
The announcement was made by chief executive, Sony Payet, during a press conference held at the site yesterday morning.
The Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) said the aim of this initiative is to help ease traffic flow and enhance accessibility for the public during the celebrations on June 29-30. The car park which can cater for 250 vehicles, will be opened as from 7am on Sunday to 7pm the next day.
