‘Hug in a mug’ brings joy to retirees in Seychelles

First Lady Linda Ramkalawan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Family, organised the much-anticipated ‘Hug in a mug’ event yesterday afternoon at the Family House Bel Eau.

‘Hug in a Mug’ is a gesture of appreciation dedicated especially to the older members of our community who have, over the years, made invaluable contributions to the development and well-being of Seychelles. The three-hour event brought together a vibrant mix of retirees from different sectors, including former teachers, nurses, and police officers, to name a few. It was an opportunity for them to reconnect, reminisce, and feel celebrated for their years of service. The beautiful gathering began with a blessing.
