A blend of patriotism and fashion at Paradise Arena

If there is one thing that unites us as a nation, it is no other than sports. Sports bring our people together, weaving us with the thread of national pride.
And now that Seychelles is the proud host of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) Beach Soccer World 2025, young and old alike are rallying behind Team Seychelles, sporting the national flag-inspired outfits, creating a beautiful tapestry of patriotism.
Patriotic fashion has become the new way to express love for our island nation as it takes part in this international event. Gone are days when our people came down to the stadium with only flags. From crop tops, maxi and mini-skirts, to t-shirts and shorts, the Seychellois people have shown their love, support and sense of patriotism through these colourful flag-inspired custom-made outfits.
There are several videos on social media showing how many individuals are wearing these vibrant attires and accessories. This is a confirmation that the 2025 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup is not only a celebration of football but of national pride.
