Today, as we mark World Veterinary Day, I take this moment to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of our veterinarians and veterinary paraprofessionals across the country.

“You are the guardians of animal health, the defenders of food safety, and the protectors of public health. Through your tireless efforts – from farms to fork, from border posts to farms and clinics – you play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our livestock, the care for our companion animals, the safety of our food systems, and the prevention and control of diseases.
