In commemoration of the six-year anniversary of the first deep-sea exploration in First Descent: Seychelles in April-May 2019, the Danny Faure Foundation conducted a seminar on ‘Innovation and Technology in Ocean Research’ yesterday morning at the Eden Bleu Hotel.
Organised to spotlight the growing role of innovation in marine conservation, the event brought together a dynamic panel of experts and local organisations. It showcased cutting-edge, often home-grown technologies shaping the future of ocean science in Seychelles. The session served as a platform for sharing knowledge, engaging in dialogue, and celebrating the strides made in ocean research through local ingenuity and global collaboration.
