Government conducts vulnerability assessment survey |08 April 2025

The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs in collaboration with the Disaster Risk Management Division is undertaking a survey in the Ile Persévérance district to update the list of vulnerable groups within the Ile Persévérance community.

The survey, which started yesterday, is targeting individuals who are bedridden, wheelchair bound, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, chronically sick and individuals with limited mobility.

Both entities said the successful implementation of the survey will depend on everyone’s supports and are therefore calling on the Ile Persévérance community to provide the enumerators with accurate and reliable information, as this data will be used in the event of an emergency and/or disaster.

The exercise will take place between 4pm and 6pm.
