Travel with more baggage to Mauritius, Air Seychelles says

Air Seychelles will introduce a new baggage policy on its Mauritius route as from Monday, July 1, 2019

Air Seychelles is expected to introduce a new baggage policy on its Mauritius route, effective Monday, July 1, 2019.

Redesigned to better meet the needs of individual travellers, the new baggage arrangements, to be implemented on the Mauritius route only, will be based on the number of bags checked-in instead of the total weight concept.

As such, guests travelling in Business Class will be entitled to two pieces of checked baggage of 32kg each in addition to the 12kg of hand luggage allowance.

Economy Class guests will be entitled to two pieces of checked baggage weighing 20kg each along with 7kg of hand luggage allowance.

The baggage allowance for infants aged between 0 to 23 months will be 10kg in total.

Guests who have purchased tickets before the introduction of the new baggage policy will be able to take advantage of the new piece concept if they are travelling as from July 1, 2019.

The new baggage policy will also be honoured on the Praslin sector for passengers holding a through ticket for travel to and from Mauritius and onwards to Praslin as from July 1.
