President Ramkalawan and Minister Vidot after unveiling the plaque

Foundation stone laid for new regional health centre

The foundation stone for a new regional health centre was laid yesterday on Ile Soleil in the Anse Aux Pins district.

Besides the Anse Aux Pins community, the new facility will also benefit the population of Au Cap and Pointe Larue, serving over 15,000 people.

President Wavel Ramkalawan and Health Minister Peggy Vidot had the honour of unveiling the plaque marking the laying of the foundation stone.

“Health is life, and this is a centre of life whose plaque for its foundation stone we are unveiling today,” President Ramkalawan said.
