No more sludge and fish meal at the Providence landfill as from mid-March, says the LWMA |27 February 2025

The Landscape and Waste Management Agency (LWMA) has announced that as from mid-March 2025, the Indian Ocean Tuna (IOT) canning factory will no longer be able to bring its liquid waste and fish meal at the Providence landfill due to limited space and covering materials which is causing the agency difficulties to deal with the amount brought in.
