With the new school year just around the corner, the streets of Victoria seemed notably quieter than usual as parents and students gear up for the academic year ahead, which gets underway next week.

Seychelles NATION took a stroll in town on Tuesday to capture the essence of this annual back-to-school rush, which this year appeared to be less frantic. This was noticeably at The Cosmic Book stationery shop which is usually cramped with buyers during this period.
