Urgency to build resilient communities

The Red Cross Society of Seychelles hosted a validation workshop on Monday to share findings of a R2 million project it is implementing titled ‘Supporting Climate Change Adaptation in the Seychelles through Anticipatory Action and Last-Mile Community Early Warning Systems’.

The project funded by the Seychelles Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust (SeyCCAT), seeks to enhance Seychelles’ readiness for climate-induced disasters by enhancing early warning systems and strengthening community preparedness.
