Seychelles Defence Forces honours long-serving staff

The Seychelles Defence Forces yesterday recognised its long-serving staff on the occasion of the 47th Defence Forces Day, which remembers the events of November 25, 1981, when the country’s army, the Seychelles People’s Defence Forces, thwarted a mercenary attack by a group of military personnel from abroad.
