No work has started on Assomption Island in connection with the hotel development whose construction phase is expected to begin by the end of October 2024.
The statement was made by the chief executive of the Islands Development Company (IDC), Glenny Savy, while conducting a tour of the island with some local media on Tuesday. Several local media houses were on the island since Tuesday morning until yesterday afternoon at the invitation of IDC, in response to the growing interest and concerns surrounding the proposed hotel development project.
