With its origin from the Pacific, it is hard to believe that Seychelles is one out of a few countries were breadfruit grows. In fact, it is considered as an indigenous crop for Seychelles. Worryingly though, fewer and fewer Seychellois take pride in consuming this highly nutritious and versatile starchy fruit which was once a very important staple food in the country.
