SSFC La Digue offshore fishing tournament this weekend |30 October 2019

The 16th Seychelles Sports Fishing Club’s La Digue Offshore Fishing Tournament kicks off Friday morning at the Fishtrap Restaurant.

For a third year in a row, La Digue's very own Fishtrap Restaurant, Chateau St Cloud, and Cabanes des Anges are the main sponsors.

The Seychelles Sports Fishing Club (SSFC) would like to sincerely thank all other sponsors.

Revenue gained from the sale of the fish caught will go to a charitable cause on La Digue and to support the SSFC's junior and conservation programmes throughout the year.

The tournament is an all-billfish release tournament.

Don't forget the SSFC team and Skipper's league will be watched closely as the eventual winners will need a very good showing on La Digue. Both leagues are the most competitive we have seen in many years. The La Digue Offshore Fishing Tournament and the Big Game Classic are the last two events before the winners are crowned at the SSFC gala.

Fishing starts Friday November 1 at 10am and ends on Saturday November 2 at 3pm with the usual weigh-in party at the La Passe jetty with DJ Basile and DJ Aubrey!

The prize-giving will be held at the La Digue Island Lodge on Sunday November 3.
