Airtel Seychelles renews its commitment towards Seychelles football
Telecommunications company Airtel Seychelles has once again renewed and reinforced its commitment toward Seychelles’ football by sponsoring the annual Airtel Cup football tournament which will kick off at the end of November.
Yesterday after at its headquarters at Providence, the company’s commercial manager Heritiana Randrianarison presented a cheque worth R300,000 to Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) executive committee member Dolor Ernesta, in the presence of secretary general Georges Bibi and Airtel Seychelles staff.
Mr Randrianarison said the company remains committed and will always help to build a platform to identify talents and take Seychelles’ football to the next level.
He added that this year’s competition, the 16th, is proof that Airtel has been active over the past 15 years and that the partnership will keep growing.
On behalf of the SFF, Mr Ernesta, other than thanking Airtel, noted that helping the youth is not only the responsibility of the government, but also that of the private sector.
A responsibility which, he said, Airtel Seychelles has been fulfilling for the past 16 years.
