Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa and Ile Perseverance school join forces for a beach clean-up event
As a part of Hilton’s Travel with Purpose week, Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa team members volunteered their time for a beach clean-up event at Perseverance beach in collaboration with Ile Perseverance school and SeyPearl.
The beach clean-up initiative showcased an inspiring display of collective enthusiasm and dedication, reflecting a shared commitment to preserving the pristine beauty of Seychelles.
Participants, comprising team members of Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa, students and teachers of Ile Perseverance school, joined forces to meticulously remove debris and waste from the idyllic shores, highlighting the collective power of proactive environmental action in nurturing a cleaner and healthier ecosystem.
The collaborative initiative, aimed at instilling environmental consciousness at a young age, received invaluable support from SeyPearl, the prominent local soft drinks brand in Seychelles. SeyPearl’s generous provision of revitalising SeyPearl drinks for the young participants underscored their commitment to promoting sustainable practices and nurturing environmentally responsible attitudes among the youth.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Hendrick Calles, general manager, Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa expressed, “We firmly believe in nurturing a sense of environmental stewardship from an early age to foster a sustainable future. By partnering with Ile Perseverance school and SeyPearl, we not only successfully cleaned up the beach but also imparted a sense of responsibility and respect for our natural surroundings to the younger generation.”
This event stands as a testament to the efficacy of collaborative efforts in fostering a culture of environmental awareness and responsibility. Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa, Ile Perseverance school, and SeyPearl remain steadfast in their dedication to organising similar initiatives in the future, advocating for the protection and preservation of Seychelles’ natural heritage for the benefit of future generations.
