Handball: Mohan Shopping Centre-sponsored men’s league |12 October 2019
Decisive match rescheduled for today
The Mohan Shopping Centre-sponsored men’s league champions will be finally known this afternoon with the taking place of the rescheduled match between reigning champions Durantha Brothers, who are after a third consecutive title, and Super 8.
The match had to be postponed a fortnight ago due to slippery surface at the Palais des Sports, with the rain finding its way through our only indoor facility.
Following consultations with both coaches, the Seychelles Handball Federation (SHF) has decided to restart the match from the beginning.
Still unbeaten with six wins and a draw, Durantha Brothers remain on track to defend their title won last year as they lead the five-man league table with 20 points, while Super 8 have won six games and lost one.
They are second with 19 points.
A draw will crown Durantha Brothers champions and they will retain their title for a third year in a row.
As for Super 8, only a win will guarantee them the league title.
