Plaisance secondary school receives new tennis equipment
As part of its efforts to bring tennis into the government schools’ curriculum, the Seychelles Tennis Association recently donated a set of equipment to the Plaisance secondary school.
The batch, made up of rackets, tennis balls and racket strings, was handed over to the students by the chairperson of the STA, Fatime Kanté, on Friday.
The presentation also coincided with Teachers’ Day on October 5 and Friday’s ceremony was attended by coaches Nicolaus Leringa and Marcus Maria.
Ms Kanté noted that it was indeed an honour to be back at the school which taught her many great values in life.
She added that they will keep giving back to the community as long as they can.
