Commander-in-Chief commissions two new SDF officers |07 July 2023

The Seychelles Defence Forces’ Commander-in-Chief, President Wavel Ramkalawan, commissioned two SDF officers during a brief ceremony held at State House yesterday morning.

A statement posted on the SDF social media page states the commissioning was done in the presence of the Defence Forces Council, Commissioner of Police, director general of the Seychelles Intelligence Services and representative of the National Assembly Defence and Security Committee.

According to the post, Anille Bristol was commissioned to the rank of Captain and Sébastien Hoareau was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant.

The statement reads that the Commander-in-Chief congratulated both officers on their new ranks, and urged them to work for the service of the nation, ensuring that they discharge all duties and responsibilities in a professional manner.
