Ministry announces rotation of two district administrators |19 April 2023

Mr Leon, new Pointe Larue DA

The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs is alerting its partners of the recent rotation of its Pointe Larue and Grand Anse Mahe district administrators.

Effective as of April 14, Gregg Leon has been appointed as the district administrator (DA) for Pointe Larue, and Vesna Gertrude assumes the position of DA for Grand Anse Mahé. Mr Leon was previously the DA for Grand Anse Mahé while Ms Gertrude was the DA for Pointe Larue.

“Mr Leon and Ms Gertrude are both highly experienced and skilled administrators, and their leadership is expected to bring positive change to the communities they serve,” says a press release from the ministry.

The ministry is urging the communities in these districts to extend their full support and cooperation to the newly appointed administrators in their efforts to improve the lives of the residents and promote community development.
