Air Seychelles and Tourism department renew marketing agreement |07 March 2023
Air Seychelles and the Tourism department have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to renew efforts into boosting inbound tourism into the Seychelles and attract travellers across the airline’s regional network.
The agreement aims to increase awareness and magnify the Seychelles experience for leisure travellers to visit the archipelago’s unique attractions.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Sherin Francis, principal secretary for Tourism, Sandy Benoiton, Air Seychelles’ acting chief executive, and Charles Johnson, chief commercial officer, at a short ceremony at the Botanical House.
Under the renewed MoU, Air Seychelles together with the Tourism department will continue to explore opportunities to jointly collaborate on initiatives to enhance the Seychelles’ tourism competitiveness, including promotional activity and travel trade support across source markets to convert interest into bookings, sharing insights around market and customer trends, among other activities.
“By renewing this MoU today, we confirm our partnership with Air Seychelles, and I look forward to working together to showcase and boost demand to our shores,” said PS Francis.
Mr Benoiton said: “We’re proud to renew this agreement with the Seychelles Tourism department and support its efforts to market the potential and attractions of our islands’ vibrant culture, heritage and breath-taking beauty to the world. The Seychelles has already positioned itself as a must-visit destination, and by working together, we can keep making holiday makers’ dreams come true.”
