President Ramkalawan to attend World Government Summit 2023   |11 February 2023

President Wavel Ramkalawan will join various heads of State and Government for the upcoming World Government Summit in Dubai from February 13-15, 2023 under the banner theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’.

The summit will witness the participation of 10,000 delegates from 150 countries around the globe including presidents, ministers, government officials, heads of international organisations and companies, thought leaders, global experts and prominent business leaders from the private sector.

The president will also deliver a keynote address during the plenary session of the summit and join three other African presidents in a roundtable discussion on economic issues.

He will be accompanied by the Minister for Finance, National Planning and Trade, Naadir Hassan; Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry Devika Vidot and other senior government officials.

During President Ramkalawan’s absence from the country, his duties and responsibilities will be discharged by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.
