NSC recognises long-serving and retiring staff |07 January 2023
The National Sports Council recently recognised its long-serving and retiring staff who have clocked between nine and 41 years of service with the government, thanking them for their loyal service in the country’s sports development over the years.
Twelve out of the 13 staff were recognised during a special ceremony held on December 29 at the National Sports Council (NSC) headquarters at Stad Linite in the presence of Minister for Youth, Sports and Family Marie-Celine Zialor, outgoing chief executive Jean Larue who was also a recognised and senior staff of the NSC.
Out of the group, Marius Fanchette has clocked 45 years in government, while Mr Larue, Antoinette Athanase and Christophe Onezime have been rewarded for 41 years of service, and as for Bernard Denis he has rewarded for 35 years of loyal service.
Weightlifting coach William Dixie was awarded for 33 years of service, while Allen Labrosse and Irene Aglaé were recognised for 30 years with the NSC.
Marc Jeremie, Charles Labiche and Jimmy Vel were recognised for 29, 23 and 22 years of service respectively, while Mervin Joubert received recognition for 14 years of service.
The late Terrence Barbé was recognised for 10 years, while Andre Ladouce received recognition for nine years of service.
