Join Silhouette Centre of Excellence – Fitir Hilton Academy |15 September 2022
Tomorrow, September 16, Hilton Seychelles Labriz will host an Open Day at Labriz Gastrolounge, Bel Ombre, to join the 2nd Fitir Hilton Academy.
Fitir is a tailored 3-month programme that offers best-in-class, hands-on experience at Hilton Seychelles resorts where candidates stand a chance to start a career at one of the world’s leading hospitality groups.
Fitir gives the opportunity to local talents to reach their professional aspirations and build a career in various hotel departments.
The drive behind the creation of Fitir Hilton Academy is to share Hilton savoir-faire and expertise, train new talents and offer a fair chance to the local community willing to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.
Fitir programme is based on Silhouette island – Hilton Labriz – where candidates benefit from professional training, as well as learn to live in a community and adapt on a remote island.
The coursescover Hilton brand standards along with specific department skills leading to a successful team member and is a blend of online self-learning, classroom training and on-the- job.
All successful students will be offered the chance to join a Hilton property in Seychelles. The first two top talents will receive international exposure in one of the Hilton hotels within EMEA. The next five best students will be recruited in one of our four Seychelles properties, with the opportunity to join the upcoming luxury brand, Waldorf Astoria, soon to open on Platte Island. A career development plan and guidance will be provided throughout their journey and beyond, in order to help them grow and become successful future leaders. The rest of the graduates will be offered a casual contract in one of the four properties with a career development plan aimed to fill the gaps to excellence.
With the first class of Fitir Hilton Academy coming to a successful end, we are hiring new interns to join our second cohort of the programme starting in October. The second edition will focus on the Food and Beverage & Kitchen departments.
The Open Day will take place tomorrow, Friday September 16 at Labriz Gastrolounge, Bel Ombre, from 10am to 2pm. It is the opportunity to discover and learn further about the programme, or to take a first interview.
