The rhythm, flavour and soul of Zilwa Reggae Bar

One of my favourite spots to sit down and have a bite in Grand Anse, Praslin, is Zilwa Reggae Bar. There is something about being there when the music is playing, you are enjoying good food and the day is slowly unfolding into that easy island mood that makes it hard not to settle in and stay a little longer.

I was reminded of just how much of a pull Zilwa Reggae Bar has when I met two lovely ladies from Mahé last Friday. They had travelled to Praslin to surprise their aunt, but that was not the only reason for their island escape. They had returned to Zilwa Reggae Bar for another Friday night of fun after enjoying what they described as one of the best weekends of their lives there previously.
